Since Midwest Auctioneers & Realty, Inc. has moved to their new 12,000 square foot facility at 5239 St. Rt. 49 S, Greenville, OH over three years ago, successful auctions is the buzz. The facility, which also houses the offices for the auction company, is heated and air conditioned for the customers convenience. Also for the customers convenience they are opened daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The auction gallery area has the capacity to handle seating for several hundred people. There is also 3+ acres of convenient parking with easy access from State Routes 49 & 127. A new interior look is scheduled to be added for the Spring of 2005. The auction facility emphasis is on auctions of antiques and collectibles and off site multi parcel real estate auctions.

Several record breaking sales took place in 2004, which includes a Villroy & Bach Hires Root Beer Dispenser for $20,000, a Northwood Sapphire Peacock bowl for $12,000, Millersburg Peacock Chop plate for $16,000 & RS Prussia Portrait bowl for $3,500 plus many more impressive sales. One of the highlights of the year is the Annual Memorial Day auction which was expanded to 3 days in 2004. Within those 3 days over 1000 registered bidders from 28 different states attended. Some other collections sold and highlighted in 2004 were collections of antique & primitive furniture, several hundred pieces of Vintage & Contemporary Carnival Glass, a beautiful collection of Fenton Glass, several coin & marble collections, a nice collection of toys and several pieces of fine RS Prussia and Roseville pieces. Along with their personal property they had a record breaking 2004 in selling Real Estate at auction. Conducting numerous multi parcel land auctions and residential and/or commercial real estate auctions. The company believes that the auction method is by far the best way to sell real estate.

Midwest Auctioneers is a full service auction company owned and operated by principal auctioneers Mike Baker and Jim Wroda. Mike Baker auctioneer/real estate broker heads up the real estate and power equipment portion of the company. Jim Wroda auctioneer oversees the antiques and collectible side of the business. The auctioneers have many years of experience in the auction business and conduct or help to conduct auctions across the United States. The auction company is designed to fit as many needs for the sellers as possible. In addition to the auctioneers the company includes a full time office staff for internal work such as advertising, auction coordination and customer service, as well as a complete auction crew of display and set up personnel, clerking, cashiering and all other aspects of the auction business. Midwest has expanded their services for personal property and real estate auctions to Florida and personal property auctions to Texas.

The general public is invited to stop by the facility for a tour. The auctioneers and staff are always ready, willing and able to discuss the auction business.
